Kathryn
Growing up with a variety of different pets has made Kathryn passionate about all animals, big and small. It is this passion that makes her an asset to our team at Nancy Crane’s and helping with your pet’s grooming maintenance. Kathryn started as a Bather/Brusher in the beginning of 2023 and has since learned scissoring skills, such as various kinds of Outline trims and is currently learning to become a groomer under the supervision of Rachel, our Prof. Senior Groomer. Kathryn strives to make sure your pet is comfortable and has a pleasant, enjoyable experience every time. Our intuitive apprentice is currently enjoying learning the art of grooming all the different breeds; her favorite part is getting to know each pet’s unique personality. As a fellow devoted pet owner, she is able to connect with your pet’s needs and believes being able to wake up and work with dogs every day is a blessing. When she isn’t being creative at work, Kathryn enjoys the outdoors with her enthusiastic dog, Zuzu, who loves training and learning new tricks. Kathryn loves being a part of Nancy Crane’s and hopes to glam up your pups.
Troy
Troy is a reliable manager with a demonstrated history of creating bonds with pets and positive relationships with owners. Proficient in basic obedience training, animal body language and maintaining a positive kennel environment.
Troy has 7 plus years of experience working with animals of every breed and temperament. Troy’s history comes with a deep knowledge of feeding, medication, exercise and basic care for your pets. His outgoing personality, extreme attention to detail, along with his passion and love for all animals has helped us create the best experience for your pets care.
Rachel
Rachel was born in a small town located in Southern Illinois. She grew up with animals from the size of rat terriers to as big as horses. Our talented groomer of 10+ years started her career at 18 years of age and got her certification from Petropolis Academy of Pet Grooming. From there she gained experience at different types of grooming salons. Rachel gained a strong set of pet grooming skills and techniques before finding her home here at Nancy Cranes. In 2009 she expanded her skills to groom felines. Since joining our team in 2014, Rachel has achieved a solid clientele. This career quickly turned into more than just a job. She loves adding more of a personal touch to grooming and loves getting to know you and your pets. Our groomer has a special passion for little dogs as they are so energetic and easy to take everywhere. Growing her own family, Rachel welcomed her firstborn son in 2020, and in 2023 she welcomed a little girl who completed her family of four. This working mom is not only a mother of two, she has also been a grandma to a litter of doberman and also brussel griffon puppies! Nancy Crane’s is excited to extend Rachel’s passion and skills to your pets!
Sarah
Sarah has been a member of Nancy Crane’s crew since August of 2021. Sarah is one of the first friendly faces you’ll see here at the facility, as she is our Office Manager! Born and raised right here in Missouri, she has always had an affinity for animals, and strives to be a good pet owner for her rescue Great Dane “Miri”. Doing your pet’s paperwork is only part of the job; she also assists with your pet groomers and kennel attendant staff, so there’s plenty of opportunities for her to check in on (and give plenty of love to) your pets! We hope that with her pleasant check-in and a good first impression, that you will come to love Nancy Crane’s just as we do!
Jessica
Jessica has been working off and on at Nancy’s since she was a small child. She is one granddaughter of the late Nancy Crane. Her love for animals is vast and infinite. With over 20 years experience and over half gained from Mike, Nancy’s son, your pets are sure to be in good hands! Jessica has been the full time general manager of Nancy Crane’s since March of 2020 while also being a mother to 3 girls, 3 cats and 2 dogs of her own. Changes have slowly been making a positive impact on the facility and there are many more to come! Thank you for your continued support of the family business and we hope to see you soon.
