When we have to board our dog we always use Nancy Crane. When we first moved to St. Louis we used another kennel but then our veterinarian recommended Nancy Crane’s Pet Care. We’ve been using them for over 6 years now. We board our dog there usually twice a year and have her groomed on the last day of her stay. Her coat is soft and silky, nails trimmed perfectly and she’s happy and healthy when we pick her up. The staff is very courteous and efficient. “We have boarded here 4 times. Mike is always so nice and has come to pick up our dog in Soulard and now in the West End since we’ve moved. Our dog is so happy to see him and recognizes him immediately. He has always been returned to us clean, well-fed, and happy. Nancy Crane is family owned and operated; when we leave town we know our dogs get the individual attention they deserve that larger high-volume boarding facilities don’t seem to have time to provide. Last time we were there, staff walking by greeted our dog by name and recognized him immediately 🙂 Most recently our dogs got dropped off simultaneously in the middle of a pipe bursting in our home. Mike knew something was wrong and came rushing inside to help find where to turn off the water and stop the leak, even when water was everywhere and despite his hectic schedule that day. This place is truly amazing!”

I have taken my 2 small dogs here several times. Once for boarding and twice for grooming. The dogs are always well cared for, Groomers do a great job. You can tell they love with they do. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a safe and loving place to have their dogs boarded or groomed.

Nancy Crane was the only business that allowed us to see the kennels without an appointment. We were impressed with how good the kennels looked and smelled. We use both grooming and boarding services with Nancy Crane Kennels and have since moving to the area a couple years ago after research and reviews. They excell with having indoor / outdoor runs, climate control and a number of options for extra care with reasonable rates and do contact us if any concern arises which we appreciate.They have good relationship with our vet, always done a very great job in grooming with both our happy Cocker and now our newly adopted Lasso Apso and are impressingly very personable remembering us on our dogs names who will share ajoining connected runs. Our boys are always happy to go back and we do not worry when away from home for their care and well being. My wife and I would certainly recommend this kennel to be a good choice to board and groom your pet.
